Anchovy Social is the rooftop bar from Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group at the Thompson Hotel in DC. Parts and Labor Design designed a space that emphasizes the waterfront and National Park views becoming a destination in itself within the hotel and larger DC area. The design sought to create a contrasting yet unified experience through a dark-to-light palette with two differing aesthetics and points of service. The design intends to bring elements of contrast and variety for guests to choose which experience they wish to enjoy. It is playful and dynamic alluding to the offer and overall brand to create a holistic design experience.
